Livecounts

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Livecounts mobile app (“Livecounts”, “the app”, “we”) handles information. Livecounts is a real-time viewer for publicly available social-media statistics. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Summary

What the app is

Livecounts shows live follower, subscriber and view counts for public creators and channels across social platforms. The figures, and the on-device live estimate, are based on publicly available statistics retrieved from the third-party service api.livecounts.org. Livecounts is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any social platform.

Information the app processes

Livecounts has no user accounts and does not ask you for personal information. The developer does not collect, store or receive your personal data.

When you search for or open a creator, the public username or handle you enter is sent over a secure (HTTPS) connection to the api.livecounts.org service in order to retrieve that creator’s public statistics. As with any internet request, the service that answers it may process technical information such as your IP address and the time of the request in order to deliver the response and to keep the service secure; this is handled by that service, not by the developer.

Data stored on your device

Your watchlist and favourites, your app settings and your recent searches are stored only locally on your device, using the device’s standard app storage. This information is never uploaded to the developer. You can clear it at any time from within the app or by clearing the app’s storage, and it is removed completely when you uninstall the app.

Permissions and network access

The app requests only the Internet and network-state permissions, which are required to fetch live data. Livecounts needs an active internet connection to load and update counts and does not work offline.

Advertising, analytics and sharing

Livecounts contains no advertising, does not use an advertising ID, and includes no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. The developer does not sell your data. If you use the app’s share feature, the content you choose to share is handled by your device’s standard share sheet.

Third-party service

Public statistics are retrieved from api.livecounts.org (see livecounts.org). Your use of that publicly available data is also subject to that service’s own terms. Creator names, handles and avatars shown in the app are public information belonging to their respective owners.

Children

Livecounts is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. It contains no content intended for children.
